This bundle includes 4 of our finest wines within the Willamette Valley region:

2005 Citation Oregon Pinot Noir

The finest Pinot Noir we offer, Citation Oregon is created by looking beyond the limits of geographic boundaries to attain the highest quality possible.  After scouring the furthest reaches of the state and our own vineyards and valley, the most promising vineyard blocks were selected and fermented in small vessels. Punched-down twice a day by hand, the wine was later gently pressed to French oak barrels and aged for the next 18 months. Careful selection of the best barrels produced a small quantity of deep, luscious Pinot Noir.

Bottle-aged a full nine years before release, the 2005 Citation Pinot Noir has developed complexity only achieved with great patience and has proven to be a truly world-class wine. Deep garnet in color, its youthful aromas of black cherry and cinnamon meld with those developed in the bottle: sliced mushroom and forest floor.  Mouth-filling flavors of cherry pie and vanilla sit atop the wine’s still maturing silty tannins, as faint echoes of oak linger on the finish.

2015 Citation Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

Citation Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is created by sourcing fruit from the most promising blocks of our Erratic Oaks Vineyard.  Carefully selected lots are fermented separately, punched-down twice daily, and after seven to twelve days of fermentation, gently pressed to French oak barrels and aged for the next sixteen months. The best barrels are then chosen to produce this small quantity of deep, darkly-colored, luscious Pinot Noir.

Our Citation Willamette Valley Pinot Noir has aromas of dark cherries, raspberries, blueberries, violets and cloves that join rich flavors of cocoa butter, vanilla and allspice.  Fine, silky tannins frame the long lingering finish.

2017 Centerstone Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

Centerstone Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, sourced entirely from our Erratic Oaks Vineyard, fully reflects the qualities or terroir of our magnificent site.  Sourced from select blocks the hand harvested grapes were destemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks.  Only the gentlest techniques were used during the alcohol and ensuing malo-lactic fermentations.  The wine was briefly oak aged to enhance the fruit and tannin structure.

The bright rich aromas of raspberry, blackberry, strawberry and cherry meld together and flow into their flavor counterparts on the palette.  Soft, yet firm tannins frame the fruit with spices and vanilla into a lingering finish.

2014 Citation Oregon Chardonnay

This exceptional chardonnay is packed with aromas of citrus, butterscotch, spun sugar, vanilla bean and ripe apples. It’s rich and mouth-filling with a touch of toasty oak followed by a hint of baking spices on the lingering finish.

In 2014, a warm Spring and the earliest bloom in 35 years set the stage for our earliest harvest to date.  On September 10th and 15th, perfectly ripe grapes were harvested from two small plantings of Chardonnay: one, atop Erratic Oaks and the other nestled high in the foothills of Oregon’s Blue Mountains.

After whole-cluster pressing and barrel fermentation, the wines aged in French oak for eleven months.  By blending high-elevation, old-vine Chardonnay with our young Dijon clone planting in the heart of Willamette Valley, we have achieved new levels of complexity, richness and balance.

2017 Centerstone Willamette Valley Un-Oaked Chardonnay

Centerstone Willamette Valley Chardonnay reflects the wonderful intense fruit that we grow at our L.I.V.E. certified sustainable Erratic Oaks Vineyard.  It is the pure expression of our site or terroir as we do not use any oak in the winemaking process.

Upon harvest the grapes were pressed into stainless steel tanks to ferment.  After the primary fermentation the wine went through a partial malo-lactic fermentation, which further enhanced the body.  Ripe fresh apple, pineapple and pear aromas mingle with crisp, yet rich flavors on the palette and an extraordinary long finish.
